Ok, really odd problem here. I prefer to have my machine connect automatically to the internet when i launch a web browser or other net app vs me launching internet connect and connecting manually. the problem is, when i turn this on in the network panel, i connect immediatly, even tho i dont want it to, if i disconnect, it will reconnect. i have turned off every automatic connect feature in all the control panels i could find, i also turned off file/web sharing and ftp access. is there another application in X that deems it nessesary to be online?

BTW, i also disabled the option in the mail app, quicktime, software update, and network time.
