College Football (American)
So what is your favorite team in NCAA football? Who do you think will play in the Orange Bowl for the National Championships? How will your team do the rest of the season?
Mine would be the school I currently attend, being Virginia Tech's Hokies.
I think the national championship will be between USC and Auburn. This is because USC has no hard teams left on the schedule, and I think Auburn just might be good enough to win out. Oklahoma has played a really weak schedule with the only good team being Texas, and they might not do well in the BCS rankings as a result. As far as Miami is concerned they still have a couple dangerous games left on their schedule including at Virginia and vs VT.
I think VT will beat GT (although this game does scare me), beat UNC, beat UMD, and lost to Miami. I do think we might beat UVA, but its very iffy imho. We either finish the season 7-3 or 8-4.
What do you guys think?

I think the CANES will win
the only reason USC is in 1st place is 'cuz they have an easy schedule... the Canes will probably easily beat them in the Orange Bowl (assuming we don't lose any of the regular season games) because it's here in Miami, and we got home field advantage

TCU has under achieved this year(my team) I went to their 4 home games so far and have not been impressed really. Against Northwestern we got lucky, SMU 44-0 but still they suck, missed an extra point and lost 45-44 against USF, and beat Houston last night by 7. But still, they hold Louisville's number(3 wins in a row vs. them, first two times we murdered them, last year was a bit closer) and I think we just could upset them.
Our losses haven't been that bad. 2OT loss with a missed extra point, Texas Tech ran up the score against us in a 70-35 loss after we pulled our starters they kept their starters in(classless ####s), and a 41-25 loss at a very under rated UAB team.

For some reason I have a gut feeling that you will lose to UVA in C-Ville, or to VT. But hey, I've been wrong before.

Yeah I was surprised by TCU this year after everyone had them pegged as a BCS buster most of last year.

I also think that Auburn is going all the way. I'm a hardcore LSU fan, and that makes it hard to admit that Auburn is going all the way. But when you can man-handle most of the SEC the way Auburn has, you are going somewhere. If they put a hurtin on the Bulldog's, which I have my money on, I say that they are going home with a National Champ status this year.
