I recently dicovered that the iSkin on my pod was stopping a really good connection for the iTrip - the thickness of the rubber at the edges is only just thick enough to mean it doesn't quite connect properly, and the slightest vibration in the car means loss of the connection and obviously therefor the signal from the iPod... which is easy to mistake for simply a drop in the signal.

same can be said for the iTalk.

a simple thing, but worth knowing.
