Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I bought an ipod 15G and installed itunes and it worked
well. Recently I got another 40G one and I removed itunes
and then reinstalled the itunes but got the following errors:
1) error 1406. Could not write value to key \Software\Classes\.cdda\OpenWithList\iTunes.exe. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contace your support personel.
After I chose "Ignore" I was told:
Error 1402. Could not open key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software
Classes\.cdda\OpenWithProgids. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contace your support personel.
The I got the following:
Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation
Consult windows INstaller help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.

I installed the itunes using an administrative user.
Could someone tell me how I can fix the problem? I cannot use my 40G ipod right now.
