Windows Media Library to iTunes...

Okay, I have a library of songs on Windows Media Player, i think somewhere around 250-300. I bought an iPod today, and when I installed iTunes and opened it, it onle brought up 70~ songs. I don't know where to find all the others...

And how to I put music from a CD it says is protected? I have a few CDs that it won't let me put on my iPod through iTunes...

Thanks

Please, if you could, email or AIM me. I'll forget about this site :P

You can right click on a song and choose 'show file location' or something similar. This will lead you to the file location of the song.

Also, as derek said you should have a music folder in which all of your songs are transfered.

Protected CD, see this info here (http://www.ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4032). They may be some helpful info there for you. Also, type in 'copy protected' in the search area and the threads dealing with this subject will come up. You can read them and see how others dealt with the situation.

Also the songs that are .wma files you can use this info from Apple's support document to help you (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107958).

Prtoected .wma songs will not transfer so you need to burn them to a CD and then import them into iTunes from the CD.
