I sure hope it's good, I just ordered it. Looks perfect, crystal clear, little bulk, and a belt clip that when not in use does not affect the case itself.

I wish I had saw this before I went and ordered my XtremeMac Deluxe. :o
Do they sell them for 3Gs?
# 3 Re: isee-20
I was at the Apple Store today, and they did NOT have the iSee-20. But there does seem to be some discontinuity between stores: there is one of the new mini Apple Stores nearby and they didn't have the same case selection that the full-sized Apple Store did.

When is the iSee-40 coming out?
Will it be a couple of days, or a couple of weeks?

Nobody knows?

no idea. I would guess sometime soon. Your best bet is to either email contour or give them a call, couldn't hurt.

Alright. Did it. :)

What makes this a better case than the icewear?

also, the isee is not silicone like the icewear one. Silicon tends to grab dirt and is a pain to put on and off the ipod. The isee is perfect if you want to dock or put in a car holding device because it allows you to effortlessly remove the ipod. Also, the isee has a vervy functional clip that is unobtrusive, while the icewear has only belt loops, not very practical.
I guess you can see I've done my homework, I don't just throw 20 bucks around. :D

Just some info for you all.
I e-mailed Contourdesign.com and they said the iSee-40 will probably come out by the end of the week, but they aren't making any promises.

Thanks for this... I was looking to buy the isee, but wanted more info than I could find on the site... and this answers all my questions. Going to place my order now.

IMO the iSee is a pretty good case. Mine just came today and I am very pleased with it. It's not too bulky and it's a perfect fit. I was worried that the iPod would slide around a little bit inside it, but it's almost as tight as a skin. Also, it is very easily removed so if you remove the case often to dock, like i do, then you will appreciate this.
i really wanted a showcase, but the main factors that made me get an iSee were price, and compatibility with an iTrip. I use my iPod all the time in the car and i don't have a tape deck, otherwise i would prefer to use a tape adapter. however, the iSee works great with an iTrip.
also, i placed my order around 10:00 pm on Sunday night and it arrived today (Wednesday) at 2:00pm, a full day earlier than the fedex tracking website had anticipated.

Can you tell us how wide it is? It looks really promising, but I'd want to put it in my car's PDA-mount, and it's already a bit of a tight fit. Thanks!
