Pics of My Vaja iVod 4G Case
Just received my Vaja iVod 4G case yesterday. The quality and workmanship are top notch. The leather smells good too. Well worth the price and 28 days wait. :)
I have chosen the Caterina White/Lilac Gray color combo to mimic the iPod look. Below are some pics:

I like, I like. The only thing I cant justify right now is the price, of 70 bucks. Being poor sucks ###. I have been really looking at getting the iSkin, or the Vaja

Thanks! Wanted to choose all white initially, but thought it looks a bit stark. Hence I chose the lilac gray for the back, easier to maintain too and look like the iPod color scheme. :)

Yeah, it is damn pricey. Took me awhile to decide before I took the plunge. The above pics did not do justice to the Vaja case, you must really hold it to appreciate the quality of the craftmanship.
I know it is subjective, but if you were to ask me whether would I pay 30 bucks for a silicon case or 70 bucks for a top notch quality leather case, I would choose the latter. ;)

Nice, nice! I too have a Vaja case. I got grey on the front and black on the back. Yours looks a bit dirty, its got yellow marks on the white (picture 4) and black marks on the grey (picture 6). Get a hot damp cloth and clean off the dirty finger marks and dry. I do this about once a week or when i see dirty marks on it. I also noticed your leather is a bit more leather looking than mine. Mine is more shinnier. Maybe its because your pictures are close up. Anyway congratulations on recieving your case!!! ;)

Wow, you have got sharp eyes, I must have "caressed" it too much last night :D Thanks for the cleaning tips, I've already wiped off the dirty marks. :)

"Vaja Leathers:
All leather used in our products are Full Grain cowhide. These hides are from the top ten percent of Argentine leather and are selected for quality, strength, character and grain. They have not been altered in any way thereby allowing the natural markings and character to show through. Full Grain cowhide is generally much cleaner and has minimal scarring and insect bites. This results in a more expensive product than other altered grain leathers, but we feel this is warranted to produce a product of extremely high quality."
The exterior is a bit puffy, which provides good protection against any mishaps. :)

Does the Vaja case hold the iPod in there snug?? Cause I see that it is open on the top, thinking the iPod might fall out or something.

It fits very snugly. Your iPod will not drop out even if you turn it upside down and give it a good shake. :)

Yeh if you are gonna be taking it out a lot you might notice some vertical scratches. You can hardly even see them so don't worry! Welcome to the Lounge!!! ;)

That's a cool color combo! :cool: The good news is the customization time is now 20 days (exclude shipping time) instead of 25 days when I ordered mine.
