iSkin or Lajo xSkn?
I had ordered a Vamp iSkin from iskin.com on 9/20 and still have not received it. Multile emails have gone unanswered. I've read many good things about the Iskin, but I'm a bit concerned about clickwheel protection, though it's not a dealbreaker for me. This (http://www.allabouttheaccessories.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=388) seems a good deal, as it's cheaper and seems to cover both the clickwheel [judging from the pics] and screen [iShade]. Plus, it'll still let me see the Ipod. While the iSkin looks cool, I'm a bit uncertain about covering up the Ipod since I like the way it looks, though I'll do it if it means better protection.
I've seen good reviews for both. So I don't know- should I cancel my order and get that instead or just keep trying to get the skin I had ordered?

I'd wait a bit and see if your iSkin comes. Basically, the eVo2's were so popular that they can't manufacture them fast enough, so they're back ordered. Have you read this:
Our back log of pre-orders have been fulfilled, but due to
a high demand for the eVo2 product, we are still experiencing a minor
shipping delay of to 3-4 business days, pending product availability.

I ordered mine on Thursday - 4g 20gb Sonic - and it's already in Chicago according to UPS. I should get it by Mon or Tues.

I ordered my Carbon iSkin eVo2 on 9/17, and it finally shipped on 10/7. So, they are shipping, just rather slowly.

If you are ordering a 4G skin from Lajo, they are also backordered due to popularity. Resellers may have them (such as allaboutheaccessories) but you should check to make sure they are in stock if you do decide to get a Lajo skin. They are excellent and do offer good scratch protection for both the iPod and its wheel, and you have the option of customizing with accessories you need such as clips or iShades, etc. Exo3's are even thinner (than the new exo3x), although if you like some thickness to your skin, Lajo offers skins in all varieties of thicknesses.

Speeking of resellers, Audio Outfitters has all sizes and colors of the eVo2 except Ebony and Sonic (well, last time I checked). I ordered from them, they shipped the next day, and it arrived two days later :)

There website looks kind of crappy, but I found them on ebay and they did indeed ship very quickly and provided great service.
EDIT: Just check and it looks like they're out of everything except Blush, Vamp, Ghost, Lava and Wasabi. Better order quick ;) Ebay (http://search.ebay.com/iskin-evo2_W0QQsojsZ1QQfromZR40) though, seems to have quite a few evo2's.

Argh, it still says delayed and the only response from them was to check the order status again o_0. Bah, is it really worth the wait, or is it time to throw in the towel?

I like the lajo, but that site allabouttheaccessories sucks. I got this dumb clear zip case from them and it hardly fit, it tore when i was putting it on. i e-mailed them to make sure it was supposed to go on the 40gb and they never e-mailed me back. i e-mailed 2 more times and nothing. customer service is important to me and this company lacks that. i got my stuff, but don't expect much from them, they seem like lazy jerks.
