click wheel protection
I've been looking around the forums and I don't think anyone has asked this yet.
Does anybody have any recommendations for cases with click wheel protection? I have a 4g 20gb iPod and although the iSkin and Showcase cases are very nice, they don't offer any click wheel protection and I'm paranoid that it might get damaged at some stage. I could always go with the iPod Armour from Mathias but that then means I have to get a remote. Anyone?
Thanks for your help.

Scratch protection or hard-core protection? For scratch protection, check out Power Support ( http://powersupportusa.com); they have 'Wheel film' to cover your wheel, but I'm not 100% on whether it's out for the 4G or not.

Thanks for the reply.
Mmm...the wheel films looks ok. Was really looking for something like the iSkin but which had the protection built into it as apposed to having to pay extra for it. I think scratch protection would suffice but will take what I can get. Does anyone know of any cases like this that are in the pipeline for release for 4g iPods?

I know Lajo had a case, like an iSkin, but with thinner (less than 1mm) silicone where the Touch Wheel and buttons were. The Lajo site (http://lajo.biz) might have a version for the 4G.
Seriously though, the Click Wheel looks and feels pretty durable; the only thing that could damage it would be some serious gunk beneath it.

Thanks for all the help Elithrar. Decided to go for the Contour Case in the end and have just put my order in for one. Now lets just see how long it takes......
Thanks again.

I started to order the Wheel Films @ $10.00 for 5, which seemed pricey but what the heck. Then I found out they wanted $6.95 to ship them. Forget about it. I'll use Saran wrap!
