Erasing Music from a iPod

How do u erase music from an iPod I just got mine yesterday had hav been trying to get some songs off help plz :)

if you're running windows just right click on the song and choose "clear" or on a mac control-click on the song and choose clear.

to completely erase the song, highlight it in iTunes and press Delete. To keep the song in iTunes and just not have it sync to the iPod, uncheck the box beside it in iTunes, open the iPod preferences while the iPod's connected (click the iPod icon in the bottom-right corner of iTunes), and select "Only sync checked songs"

thx If you want to delete songs off the iPod directly, this is not possible. However you can follow the directions given by others in this thread to delete songs from the iPod through iTunes.

How do you uncheck the entire Library without having to uncheck each individual song? Or is there an easier way to erase all songs from the iPod and leave them in iTunes?
