iPod mini and Windows ME

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this thread, but I have just bought an iPod Mini and I'm very pleased with it, but I changed my computer settings today and completely forgot it required Windows XP or 2000 and now I have Windows ME. Is there a way I can use the iPod mini with my new operating system? Thank you very much for your help!

Another question,Does EphPod work with an USB port? I don't have a Firewire card.
