hi my 3rd G, 20gb ipod has been playing up recently. At first i could play one or 2 songs before it would go onto the next track and skip through them all. The names and tag would come up but it would then just skip past every single song without playing them.

If i reset it, all the songs are wiped although on itunes it says i only have xx gb's free. This suggests the songs are still on my ipod's hard disk but they cant be played or displayed.

So when i update and load them all back on it wont let me play any song and simply skips through them all!

Sounds like it is truely rogered. Any suggestions?
