Best option for my Nissan
ive been doing research on this for a while i know about the FM transmitters, FM modulators, Aux pods and icelinks and ions (oh my:p ) well anyways i havent seen any support for nissan maxima's on any of those three the car has a factory bose stereo that will be more expensive to replace so its not exactly worth all that
i was going to just get an itrip mini (i have a mini :D ) but i read how those arnt always the best not like i live in NY or anything but i dont want to hassle with it
because my friend told me about the neo ion i thought cool ill look into it then i came and read about other installations and some of them are pretty bad ### :) and i started to research on the aux pod and icelink and the more i research the more they all seem to be the same and the more i doubt they will be compatible with my car
the absolute last option will be a cassette adapter with the belkin auto kit i dont really want to do it this way because
1) clutter
2) will have to un hook everything to hide it (dont want someone walking by and get any stupid ideas)
anyone have any ideas or have a nissan with the bose stereo?

Hey, I know your pain. I have a nissan and spent so much time trying to get a better way. There really isnt much compatiiblity so I bought an aftermarket alpine which is incredible with mp3 cds. prob easier than the ipod controls and it holds about 10 cds on one. The only thing is it was damn expensive for the new head unit and wheel controls are not as smooth and expensive but good luck. Stop wasting your time, I wasted a lot of time for no good result.

only thing with getting a new HU is that you have to replace the whole system (so i hear) if i cant put my ipod into my HU already im just gunna go with the tape deck auto kit method because it will probably be easier then slap a remote on it and tape it to my steering wheel :p
any other feedback?
