Panasonic Insanity

I want to hook up my new 20G clickwheel ipod up to my panasonic cqdf600u car cd reciever and there is no aux input on this thing. I have seen that other recievers such as Alpine, Pioneer and Clarion have aux input adapters that plug into the CD changer input and result in the aux input. I'm getting frustrated and wondering why I can't find any of these adapters for my deck. I only want to connect my ipod via aux input because there is no way I'm going to be able to deal with the crappy FM transmitters. Is there any way I can do this, if anyone knows, tell me, please. Otherwise if I can't I guess my next option is to get a new deck for my car. But that won't be at least until Christmas, and that would be my last option.

There may be an adapter. There are MANY decks without inputs on them. It really sucks. I would have mine hooked up to my nice system in my car, but I've had it for a while, and my deck doesn't have inputs either... It's a drag.

There are adapters you can buy, but I'm not sure where to look. I've seen them around. It just depends on if they make them for your deck or not.

A company called PIE might make one, I know they have models for a lot of cars.

Another option might be to go with an FM transmitter, albeit at a lower sound quality than a hardwired solution. It's a lot cheaper than a new deck, though...

I emailed panasonic and told them my issue. The emailed me back saying that a 5 pin DIN to rca adapter was necessary and to call their parts department directly. I have yet to do so, but I'm crossing my fingers that I can find it. I was looking online for one but all I found was really huge electronic warehouses that sell like 50 at a time. If anyone finds anything, let me know, thanks.

you guys should try a company called PAC, they make so many different car audio adapters and wiring harnesses it's crazy. Just type PAC auto audio or something similiar into a search engine and you'll be on your way!
