Next week I am getting my iPod, and yesterday I started thinking about how I wanted to install it. I didn't want something that everyone else had, like a cup holder thing or smething like that, so I decided to go custom. I am going to make a spot in the cover on my center console that the iPod will sit in securely, with some sort of cover to hold it in when I open my console. I bought all of the wiring I need (Belkin Auto Kit, 1/8" jack - RCA converter, 13 pin Kenwood CD changer - RCA converter). I also bought felt so the iPod doesn't get scratched while sitting in its new home, and leather for the cover tha matches my car. I've been searching all over the internet and this forum for similar installs, but have yet to find something, so hopefully it comes out good. When I get it done next week I will post pictures, and depending on my motivation, maybe a tutorial for anyone else who wants to do it.
