those are ear canal ones
# 3 Re: Behind the neck
Koss KSC-50 (or 55... can't remember which one has the neckband).
# 4 Re: Behind the neck
the Koss KSC-55 look good, but since there so inexpencive it makes me think they must be uncomfortable or something, cus everytime i have bought headphones for a low price, they were terrible, but it would be great if these were an exception
are there any other good ones??
# 5 Re: Behind the neck
I can't speak for their comfort, but their sound quality is excellent. The Koss KSC-35, 50, and 55 (and porta/sporta pros) all use the same driver and many audiophiles consider it the best sound available for portable use. Don't be scared by the low price... it's just great value.
Head over to head-fi and read what people say about them. I've heard the 35 and it sounds pretty awesome to my ears.

are those two good??

Well Senn certainly makes quality headphones, so they'll definitely be better than low-end Sony or Panasonic crap. Problem is, they're brand new... nobody's reviewed them yet. You could give it a shot for us :)
The big question, of course, is how the sound compares to the Koss. By the way, what makes you think the Koss would be more uncomfortable than the others? They all seem to look the same as far as I can tell.

The PMX's have been out for a while and by all accounts they're not very good. I can't confirm that.
I like the Sony MDR-G74SL for general purpose travelling use where I don't need noise isolation. Although it doesn't sound quite as good as Sennheiser's excellent PX100 (compact over the head phones), I find I can hear more music without turning it up too much on the G74. The Sennheiser PX200 on the other hand offers more useful isolation, but it's not as good soundwise as the MDR-G74SL.
When I'm not using the Sennheiser HD25-1 (perhaps because I'm not carrying a bag that day) or the Shure E5 (perhaps because I have an ear irritation that day), the G74SL and the PX200 are the phones I use most.
# 11 Re: Behind the neck
Go for the koss', they have excellent sound quility. The behind the neck version are as comfortable as any other behind the neck headphone but I went for the ear clips which aren't as comfortable but have better portability.
# 12 Re: Behind the neck
I thought the PMXs were new... I haven't seen any reviews yet. Oops... sorry about that.

Not to my ears :D The G74SL was my primary headphones from high school till my ipod (aka Pre-iPod Era) still got em! But the new ones I've have bought like (PX200) sound way better IMHO
# 17 Re: Behind the neck
I thought the previous generation Street Styles were pretty bad (including the G72LP).

# 19 Re: Behind the neck
I have the Sony MDR-G72 (not LP). I'm not sure what the LP stands for, but my G72's are foldable.
The sound quality is alright. It has pretty big drivers, so you won't hear cracking on high bass levels. However, thats where the headphone flaws on. Instead of bass, you really hear booms instead. The headphones can get quite loud as well, so when you want you can just blast the volume and in most cases, it could be heard across the whole room (or bus). I've done it, and its pretty fun.
Oh, one more thing. I broke mine recently. The left clip snapped off the thing that goes around your neck. It's still connected (through the wire) and all, but if I want to use it I have to hold it against my ear or it just hangs down. Don't get me wrong, these are very durable. I've been using these for about two years now.
I'm also in search for better headphones. :D

Which is odd, as the G74SL has only been in the Sony product line-up for the 2004/05 season. Surely you can find better uses for your time machine apart from buying a pair of cheap phones? :p
