Computer speakers for use with iTunes

Does anyone have advice about computer speakers for use with iTunes. I have ancient Altec Lansing computer speakers which sound really tinny-the iPod sounds so much better. I am looking for speakers less than $200, which have relatively small footprint. I have a small computer desk.

The Tivoli Model Two speakers ($150) make great computer speakers that also look very nice (and get get great radio reception!), but they may be too big for your desk.

i have a set of klipsch 2.1 speakers. they're THX certified. only about $150 or $160 US at amazon.

try the Altec Lansing MX5021 2.1 speakers. Ive got them, they look good, sound stunning and are a welcome addition to any room and computer desk.

I just got Altec Lansing VS 2121 speakers, which are excellent.

the satelites are pretty narrow, but the sub is a fair size, but goes under the desk anyway! they are loud ;)
