Need some advanced help!
First off, I am a long time lurker. First time poster!:)
Now, lets begin.
I own a restaurant, I have the following scenario taking place.
DSL into the bar, Linksys 802.11g Wireless 4 port Router
Connected to Lynksys Media Adapter, also 802.11g. I have around 4000 songs on my notebook (wireless pc)
I just bought an IPOD.
My vision!
Create a playlist on my IPOD From customers (free) And then play over the house stereo system.
Is there any technology that is out or coming out, that would enable me to choose songs on my IPOD and play over a WIFI connection? Any add-ons to existing 40g IPODS?
Your help is certainly appreciated.
Thanks much!

Here is what i am thinking:
Setup iPod to Manual, Make an on-the-go playlist for them, hook up to laptop and play off iPod.
Make sure the Lappie is powered though.

Not directly from the iPod because as far as I know there is no way to make the iPod wireless.
You could "pass the iPod around" so to speak amongst the customers, allow them to creat an On the Go Playlist then connect the iPod to the PC and stream wirelessly from the iPod through the PC via something like Airport Express or any of the similar products from Netgear, D Link et al.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned Air-Tunes.
Yeah I know it's for Mac., but it's (just like Apples Ait-Port),
802.11x wireless. How one goes about hooking a Stereo
up to it I don't know. But, I'm sure Apple won't be the only
ones to sell a device with that functionality...
