Can anyone explain to me what the big deal is with external speakers? I just plug my ipod into the multimedia speakers that came with an old comp... it has a subwoofer and two speakers, so when I hook it up through my dock, my 40GB works really, really well. I don't get any hiss or anything. In fact, even without the dock, I don't get any hiss (but in the home library, it has a better feel with the dock). Anyway... what's the point of getting special Ipod speakers?
