Well, its not really iTunes, but theres something wrong with Airtunes...

Ok, I don't think this is platform specific, hence I'm posting it here.. :) But if it matters, I'm on a Dell Inspiron 8100 with Windows XP.

I recently got Airport Express with Airtunes, and after purchasing the right wire (being computarded, I picked up the wrong one the first time around), I was excited to be able to finally play my music through the stereo in my room. However, after hooking it up, I installed the software. The setup guide then told me to open "Airport Express Assistant". The problem was, there isn't a program called Airport Express Assistant. Confused, I tried to reinstall the program. Still, nothing. I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it. Yep, nothing. I repeated this a couple of times, searched for the program, and did everything I could think of.

Well, I was wondering, if anyone with Airtunes has encountered this problem? If so, how'd you resolve it? Was I sent a defective CD?

Grr. It's so frustrating. :(

Thanks for reading this, any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

The Assistant is there if you've run the installer from the AirPort CD. Look under AirPort in Programs.
