are the remote headphones covered by the garentie?

Mine are starting to go and is almost a year since I brought my iPod so if they are il get them changed before its to late.

yes the earbuds are covered by the warranty

as is the remote and any other accesory that comes with the ipod. just fill out a repair request form on apples website

So im trying to fill out the form, and it wants a serial number... any idea how I find this?

I thought it might be the iPod serial number but it wasnt.

Id this helps, I orderd it online from John Lewis so does this make things harder?

The serial number is the number on the back of the iPod. Maybe you are entering it wrong but that is the serail number that they are talking about.

Hmm I thought that the main use is the ONLY one that has 1 yr. warranty while other stuff like remote, FW cables, adapter, etc, have only 3 months warranty.
