I tried to submit a request on the apple site for an out of warrenty battery service on the 5th. At the end of it the site said there had been an error, and i would have to do it again. So i didnt bother.

However, UPS tried to deliver something to me today and said it was a package that said electronic components. I have had no correspondence from apple, so have no clue waht to do. Am I to assume that apple are sending me a box to send my ipod back, and UPS are wrong in believing it contains electronic components?

Or are apple sending a replacement ipod, and UPS will collect mine on the doorstep?

Has anyone done an out of warrenty battery service recently and know the procedure? They are coming back tomorrow and apples lines are closed :mad:
