Does anyone have the 2.1 software restorer/reformatter?

You may still have it. Look in C:\iPod\Updater_2.1

nevermind, i upgraded to 2.2my biggest fear was that i heard someone saying it limits playability or something, and i thought it wouldnt let me play my mp3s that i ripped from my cd collection
nevermind, it works fine, i realized after some research that that has to do with aac files, and i only have like 10 of those, so im not worried too much

it only limits copying protected aac files ie. those bought on iTMSnoogabooga at 2007-11-15 17:20:15 >
