Hi,

i don't know if this is a problem with itunes for pc or indeed if it is something to do with my usb 2.0 (i put it in before i got the ipod, and i'm not known for my skill at opening the lid and tinkering on my pc), anyway, the problem is this:

when i eject the ipod from itunes i get the 'OK to disconnect tick' on my ipod display. But when i do, i get an error message on my PC saying 'Unsafe removal of device' it goes on...'to safely unplug or eject any of the following devices, first use the hardware wizard in the control panel to stop the device.'

it says that i am using a USB mass storage device and offers to put an eject icon in my task bar.

This is not a massive problem i know but i am also suspicious on the speeds with which files are being transfered to the ipod, i am sure they should be faster and i can't help but think that there is something funny going on with the usb 2.0 on my machine,

any thoughts?
