Just found the "Resample" option in the Options menu (accurate location for it) and tried to resample my VBR 80% MP3s to 128kpbs fixed. Synce new songs and they came over as the normal VBR files -- no change to file size or bitrate.

Anyone know how to get this function to work?

BTW: iPod mini, WinXP Pro, MMJB Plugin, No iTunes or other generic iPod software.
