i downloaded ipodrip on my ibook (which is not the computer that is set up to my ipod). when i try to rip my ipods songs it says that my ipod is not recognized or attached when it really is! any suggestions or other ideas i can try?

THAT IS WHAT IPOD RIPPED IS MADE FOR CORRECT ??

what i am trying to do is copy all the songs on my ipod to my ibook laptop so i can then clear out my ipod but have all that music on my laptop and then set up my ipod to work with my laptop and not my desktop ....

please help
