playing tracks in library in same order as cd
Hey,
i have a problem in that when i import cd's to my itunes library they do not remain in the same order as on the cd! this is causing me grief as a lot of my music is classical stuff and it requires to be played in order! Besides manually creating playlists etc, is there any quick way to revert back to the original order?
thanks for any suggestions.

If you sort your library by album (click on the album column heading) it should sort your library by album, but it will also sort by track number within each album.

Make sure you turn on Browse Mode too (click the "eye"). It makes it a lot easier to navigate in iTunes.

Thanks both for your tips, however now they are all listed in reverse! I think that i read somewhere that this is a bug in itunes!
Alas, it can't be perfect!

When you click on the column heading it will toggle between sorting the list ascending/descending.
There should be a little arrow in the heading that will be pointing up if the list is currently set to sort ascending. It should be pointed down if the list is set to sort descending. This might explain your reverse order listing.

St. Kilda,
Definitely not a bug! If it weren't able to play albums in order, you'd definitely hear about it here and elsewhere. Like virtually *any* program that uses list views, clicking on the column header will reverse the order of the list.

No problem, St. Kilda. I'm also a classical listener, so I can imagine how annoying it might be to only hear albums in reverse order.
