How can Apple do this??

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I'm sure theres been plenty of discussion about this but I'm so infuriated i have to ask. I recently discovered that the 60+ songs i've bought from iTunes in AAC format cant be burned onto an mp3 CD, nor can they be converted to mp3. Please tell me there are plans to correct this injustice. Are people just taking this crap from Apple??

FYI: To convert AAC to mp3 tracks, after you burn them to a disk just re-import them back into iTunes as a mp3. I've tried this with some songs I purchased and it will work. This is the only way I have found to convert the AAC tracks to mp3.
