Well, if you really want, PM me, or email me, and I can make a program to do this for you...

Check out ID3-TagIt at http://www.id3-tagit.de/english/index.htm . It's free, and works very fast and brilliantly.

Musicbrainz is by far and away the easiest and most hands free method of tagging your songs. It compares your music to a database of other tagged songs (submitted by users so you know it's accurate) and puts together a best guess of what teh tags should be. Check it out:
Musicbrainz Automatic MP3 Tagging (http://www.musicbrainz.org)
All you basically have to do is drag your untagged songs into teh program and let it do it's thing, You can customize how accurate you want the hash to be before it tags the songs. (75 - 80% is pretty much perfect for not mistagging anything in my use.)

WOW!!! I just downloaded this, and it works PERFECTLY! I highly recommend it, it just did a perfect match for 3 albums that would have taken me forever to do.
[EDIT] It seems that it has some trouble correctly writing Feat...(artist) to the filename. But it writes it correctly to the title in the ID3 tag. Just thought it might be a little annoying to some people, especially picky people like me :D
Thanks a lot! Just made my tag editing days that much easier.

MMJB paid version will do mass lookup or retag by filename. Not sure about frre version.

Perhaps you could try the delete existing tag info option. This may help you out, otherwise it's a great piece of software!

hi. i just downloaded MusicBrainz Tagger and installed it. then i created an account at their site.
but for some reason the program is unable to connect. the window underneath the work space reads: "The page cannot be displayed" and all tracks i load onto the tagger end up in the Error Tab.
could find nothing on this in their FAQ page or tutorial.
any ideas?
