mp3s: ipod->computer in windows XP?
how do I get my music from my ipod onto a computer?
Im sure I have to download some software, but what? and from where?

You need to install the .Net framework then it allows you to download your music direct to a folder.
Transfer folder->Artist folder->Album Folder->tracks
Actually if you are sick of your misnamed files i would do this to mass re-name your files.
