I recently bought a 3rd gen 30gb ipod... Ive had for about 8 weeks and its completely frozen on me :-(

I had it in its dock ready to add delete a few tracks and wanted to take it out of it dock while it was connected to its fire port.. usually i would have pressed the eject button but this it wasnt there on the portable device window so i took the ipod out of its dock... now im stuck with the do not disconnect message on it and its been well over an hour... ne help would be brilliant and most appreciated
