Defective Clickwheel?

I just got my Silver Mini iPod on Wednesday and I noticed that there may be a problem with the clickwheel. The middle select button on the click wheel seems loose. You can jiggle the button back and forth when you touch the the surface. It seems to be clicking okay though. Is this middle select button supposed to be rock solid and not move at all? Do you think I should return this to my Apple store and get a replacement or do you think it will hold up in the long run?

I think that's normal. There should be a tiny bit of play on the select button... not much, but enough to allow you to press it off center without rubbing the outer wheel. Mine rocks a bit as you describe, and mine is 3 months old next week.

Definitely normal. I second what Ace said. Mine is going on 2.5 months old.

Perfectly Normal. I have exactly the same model as you and mine does that too, not to worry!
