Battery drains when copying files
Hey people. I'm having some problems with the iPod battery. It runs fine for eight hours when i play music on it, but when i copy stuff from it on a pc using USB or Firewire the battery seems to drain, or at least: the battery indicator is lowering very fast. Is this normal behaviour and is the indicator just being silly or is this a real problem?

just checked my 'pod. It seems that the battery indicator has returned to normal. Lesson from this incident: don't trust the indicator too much :)

Battery drain during syncing IS normal. The PS can't keepup with the drain when you spin the HDD and swap files continuously for any length of time. Recharge ( unmounted ) if you spend any real time with the syncing process.
