20gb

Was wondering if, for the extra $100, the 20GB is a better deal than the 15GB. I won't use the case as I plan to buy one of my own- are the remote and the dock worth getting? If so, with the extra storage, maybe I should consider it.

IMO:
the dock is worth getting, but the remote isn't.
if you'll be buying a case anyway, then you won't use the one that comes with it, so you have pretty much an easy choice:
1. for $70 buy the dock on its own
2. for $100 guy the 20GB, get the dock + extra space + useless sutff
3. don't spend any extra money

personally, i would go for option 2, well, i guess i did, but that was when the upgrade to 20GB was a 10GB upgrade, not 5.

I purchased an 15GB and all I have is 504 songs, i think it all depends on how much music you have.

Just curious - what made you choose the 15GB over the mini (assuming you bought it this year)?

One thing to think about...depending on the case you get, you might find yourself not using the dock. I have my iPod in an iSkin, and haven't used my dock in quite awhile. It's just alot easier to plug the cable directly into the ipod. To use the dock, I'd have to take my iPod out of the iSkin, which would be a pain.
