Ability to view user-defined genres?

I currently have an iHP-120, but I'm interested in getting a mini ipod. My question is, can the iPod view by user defined genres? My music is separated in iTunes in lots of user defined genres that weren't standard choices, and I'm wondering if these could be transferred to an iPod. Thanks

Absolutely.

Although iTunes comes with many Genres pre-defined, the Genre field is still a compatible, standard ID3 **text** field that can hold any text. Both the iPod and iTunes support the tag in full.
