So I have had my 40G for a few months, I have to say I have been thinking on and off for a while that it isn't REALLY worth the money...
In a while I am going traveling, and I just don't know whether to sell it now or not. I wouldn't get the best price for it now of course, but I could still do with the money.
The main thing though is taking it backpacking with me, I have posted about this before and it was suggested to take a battery pack with me, but it seems like hassle and more expense, (buying the battery pack itself plus batteries all the time)
and as well as using batteries I would want to charge it sometimes, so I would have to take adapter plugs. I like to travel very light, I don't want to take a load more stuff, you would have to take the actual ipod out with you in the day too for security reasons. WHich is the other thing, I don't want to have it nicked. On the other hand, having all your music with you is cool...
