Adaptor Question (Europe)

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. 20G Ipod

I just recently bought an Ipod for personal use and wanted to bring it along on my trip to Italy this upcoming week.

I bought a generic (let's just say "radioshack") international plug converter kit. It says clearly on the package "DOES NOT CONVERT VOLTAGE".

I don't want to blow up my Ipod, but I want to be able to charge it while overseas. It's a two week trip and I need to have my Ipod charged while taking those long train rides.
Can I use what I bought, or should I return the item-?

Can anyone help me out in this area?

So voltage has nothing to do with it- it's more having the correct plug-

Thanks for the help
