Cassette adaptor only plays well in right channel?
Has anyone ever experienced this - The cassette adaptor that I purchased for my car only plays well in the right speaker channel, barely registering in the left?? This was the case for both cars (an Audi and a Honda). My iPod does not have this problem when connected to either headphones or a direct line into my home stereo system. Any thoughts on this?
Also, the first cassette adaptor that I purchased from Belkin sucked, barely fitting into either car stereo system and playing poorly and clicking madly in both. The replacement, from Radio Shack, fit better and was much quieter, but now has this one-channel issue.
Gettin' a little frustrated here.

I have the same exact problem. I would have to jiggle and pull on the cable to get it to play left and right channels. Finally, I went to Target and bought an exact replacement (Sony cassette adapter) for $20 and it has work great ever since.

Something's out of alignment between the cassette adapter and the head unit's cassette reader. It'll only work properly if the adapter is exactly in the right spot.
