Babying my iPod
I am faced with a common problem, i cannot stop babying my ipod. It has a nice speck case that still leaves the buttons exposed, but yet before i use it i wash my hands every time. Can people please tell me specs, or stories that could sway my opinion? thanks

I was like that when my iPod was new. You know, scratches, dirt, etc... I was so paranoid, I never let anyone touch my baby! But now, I think I'm over it. I still take good care of it, but the paranoia has dwindled. I say, just take good care of your baby, but don't let it spoil your enjoyment. Let the iPod do what it does best. Just enjoy the music. ;)

I also babied my ipod when I first got it. I did not wash my hands, but I would not put it down on any rough surface. After I actually used it for one day and put it in my pocket, the paranoia wore off!

Im just like that, and every few days I get more scratches on the screen etc (thanks to iskin exo2 har protector... that thing is horrible, should have gotten evo, whichcame out two days later). But im over it, aslong as it works with no problems and doesnt look like CRAP, then its all goooooood.

Listening to peoples "scratch stories" is like listening to someone with a new car. :D
No one wants that first scratch, everyone does what they can to keep it from happening.. but sooner or later we all get a scratch or ding or something... we react, we cope, we move on.
At least with the Ipod you can wrap it up in a case that will hide most damage from the outside world. It's a bit trickier to drive around with the cover still on your car~
