looking for mp4 video to mp3 audio converter

yes it can be done. although i recommend finding or converting the file to mpeg beforehand, as the only program i have found to extract audio (convert) from an mp4 video is xilisoft mp4 converter, which comes in a suite of different programs. having said that, i prefer to extract any necessary audio content from mpeg files due to better quality productions and becuase i have a program that does it flawlessly, every time. that program is blaze media pro, which does other things as well, but i only use it for converting. blaze media pro won't convert mp4 video to mp3, or at least the version that i have wont

so in short, try to convert an mpeg file to mp3 before you put it into itunes and make it ipod ready as an mp4

if your converting movies downloaded from iTMS then you'll likely have issues due to digital rights managment restrictions and such

if any of what i have said is wrong, please correct me because i would love to find an easier way to get audio out of the concerts i have on my computer, as i prefer to listen to them than watch them and i want to save space and ipod battery life without jumping through hoops

how does that go in terms of sound quality and ease of use?
