Maximum number of playlists

Hi,
I have got myself a 3rd generation nano, 8gb and can only synchronise 6 playlists to it. Is that normal?
I can synchronise loads of full albums but I was hoping to create lots of custom playlists to save space.

How much space do those 6 playlists add up to?

Are you using "sync selected playlists" or "manually manage"

Are you syncing anything else? Games, Videos, Podcasts, etc?

Hi,

My ipod has 5GB of free space, however it does have some photo's and movies on it to.

I am manually mangaing my ipod and when I try to drag and drop any more playlists nothing happens, it appears that itunes is refusing to even try synchronising it.
