I have a 30GB ipod 5G and I would like to replace my battery. I have seen 550 mAh batteries for this one, and 850 mAh for the 60/80 GB ipod 5G. They look pretty much the same, but the 850 mAh never reads as compatible with the 30GB ipod 5G. I am not sure there would be a reason (size, power specifications, other... ??) but I'd rather not kill my ipod if somebody has done the experiment, or knows whether it is or not compatible.
