What are the odds of the file size of signatures getting raised?

I know it's a silly question, but what are the odds that the size of the avatars could be raised from 10 k to maybe 50 or 60 k?

It doesn't seem like much, but it really does make a difference. The quality of the sigs is kind of bleh with such a small size. I have to make my sigs super grainy and in gif format, when the jpg is only like, 58 k.

I know it's a silly request, but 10k is really small.

20 signatures on a page at 60k = 1,200k
20 signatures on a page at 10k = 200k

It makes a difference. Doesn't seem like much on a single things, but when you take into account the number of images that can end up on a single thread, it builds up.

You can make them look good if you cut them in half. I mean, uh, make a smaller one. ;)

The point of the forums is to allow people to find out the information that they need to find - not to act as a showcase for members artistic skills.

Most folk seem to manage with the restrictions on sig size - on my 20" iMac your sig looks fine - it looks like you have smudged the writing with your sleeve though...
