Help me free my nano!

Hello,

as you may have read in the switcheasy thread, my nano is stuck in its case. I've exhausted every method that I could think of and what switcheasy recommended. In the end nothing has worked. That is why I am turning to you guys to help me figure out a way to free my nano from this case. Since it's made of lexan no mere mortal tools can really nick it without damaging my nano. I am opened to any suggestions or ideas that can help me remove the case.

Thank you all.

Basic science here -- heat expands things, cold contracts. I think you can safely try a little heat to expand the case to loosen its grip on your Nano. The trick is that you need the case to expand faster than the Nano so that it spreads out faster than the Nano grows (we're talking microscopic changes here, but perhaps enough to break the bond). The thermal mass differences between the Nano and the plastic case should allow the case to expand faster with a little heat.

So, try using a hair dryer to gently warm up the case and then try to slip the Nano out. Don't go crazy with the heat, just try a little at a time. If that doesn't do it, you might first try the opposite by putting the Nano & Biscuit in the refrigerator for maybe 15-20 minutes, then pull it out and gently blast it with the hair dryer. The cold will cause both to contract a bit, but then with a little heat the case should expand faster than the Nano.
