Im trying to make $100 to get the Missus a Christmas present
Does anyone have any suggestions for making some money on the side to help me get a little extra on the side?
My paychecks are currently really small, and it's rather troublesome, but I'm trying really hard to make that extra money so I can get her something nice.
I just don't know what else to do.
I've taken extra hours at work, I've saved bottles and cans, but alas, it's just not happening as well as I'd hoped.
And no, I can't sell my kidney.
:(

Edit: sorry, meant to add some pratical advice as well.
The way I save money is by cutting down uneccesary costs such as eating out, biking to work rather than driving, etc. I've saved more money than I can count just from those two.

Can you sell your other kidney? :p
Ask your boss for a) a raise or b) if you can manage it, more hours.
Sell some used CDs, the ones you don't really like (and remember to delete them from iTunes first as per US law ;))

well if you can't save up and you already have a job what expenses do you have that your paycheck goes towards?
If you and your gf haven't set a price range for presents you might wanna reconsider spending that much, if you were to get her 100$ present and she, a 30$ present she might feel guilty then you would feel bad and then problems would start. Remember its the thought that counts :)
But really if you need money just spend NOTHING if at all possible for 1 week, then spend normally for the next, then spend nothing the week after that, etc. By Christmas you should be able to have 100$ saved up. Try doing the math and see what will work for you.

Just today I got an e-mail from a Nigerian customs agent saying that they found $18M that belongs to me. You're welcome to it if you want ;)
But seriously, how about selling off stuff you don't need on eBay or Craig's list? Every little bit adds up.

Um...sell your unwanted crap, panhandle (sing on the street, mime, street performances, etc.), buy stuff in bulk and sell it, erm...yeah.

buy 200 for 100bucks and then make a hundred...
it worked at my high school..this one group made 800 dollars with these
