Why is that you cannot move your songs from your ipod 2 your itunes? I, unfortunately, have songs on my ipod that are not on my newest computer and would really prefer not to download them again. Does any1 know about this?:confused

Its actually quite common for MP3 players to disallow copying from the device to a computer. One of the unique (and very handy) things about the iPod is that when its connected to the computer, its really just a USB disk drive (that stores music in its own odd fashion). Consequently, its fairly easy to bypass the "restrictions" and get the songs off your iPod.

On a few other players I have, there really is no way to bypass the restrictions. Example: my phone is a full-fledged MP3 player and it came with a few songs; I upgraded the memory card, but the songs on the original card can't be transferred.
