Hello,

I tried to replace the screen of my iPod Video 30G. It went fine. But now, when I switch it on, then the screen only is white and does not show anything. When I press the buttons of the clickwheel, the iPod "clicks", but when I move my finger on the clickwheel, nothing happens.

When I plug it in to my Windows pc, it detects a removal drive, but it is not in "My Computer". Also, iTunes does not display it.

When I did the replacement, I lost the plastic tab holding the ribbon cable in place.

So , my question is: What may be the problem? and Can this be related to the plastic tab?
