I know I'm probobly asking something that has been asked/answered before
so I apologize but I'm really getting frustrated and my girlfriend is on my back
to fix our ipod thats been out of commission for a few months-

im trying to restore/wipe my ipod but itunes doesnt see it-
one day it just wiped all my songs.
when i connect the ipod windows says
"do you want to scan and fix" blah blah
- ive tried letting it do that and it just freezes
and doesnt complete. itunes doesnt recognize
the ipod and will also freeze-

i had thought there was a small program made
by apple that would restore your ipod but now
i cant find it and it only guides me to do it
thru itunes which... doesnt recognize it so yea-

please i would be eternally greatful for some help
