My iPod video is freezing every time I plug it into my MacBook. I can't update it, because it freezes before iTunes even recognises it. I can charge it just fine. It also freezes every time I turn it on, or try to change a song. I have to fool with the hold button for a few seconds before I can use it. Also, it is SO hard to get it to play audiobooks and videos. I do the restore thing all the time (where you toggle the hold switch and hold select abd menu) but I can't put any new music on it, or restore to factory settings. What gives?
