water damage

i have a 4th gen iPod that suffered some water damage! I left it in my back yard and it started to rain, now it just says battery needs to charge but never charges.. you guys think if i replace the battery it will come back to life?

Hmm... sounds like bad news I'm afriad.

If the battery was otherwise fine before had it sound like the connectors are broken :S but no matter what would it be worth the money and hastle to try to find the probem anyway ?

Perhaps it's time for an upgrade ??

i hear ya especially with the new touch screens. I just saw that the battery kit was like 15.00 and thought maybe could fix the problem with $15.00
